My Dad used to talk to me about "needs" vs. wants" and as a little girl he would probably have told me that these Missoni Converse high-tops were "wants" since I already have way too many shoes. But I would have to argue with him on this one... these shoes are definitely a need! Can't wait to grab a pair when they come out in early April ($200). Sorry Dad!

Shoutout to cool websites...
Today I want to share some of my favorite website design. Poilâne, the Parisian Bread Company, and Samantha Robinson's Australian porcelain shop have some of the coolest websites I've seen in a while. I love how interactive they are! I hope you enjoy checking them out, but be careful - it's so much fun adding bread to the basket at Poilâne that your bill will come to €300 before you know it...
Get ready to go inside one of Paris' cutest bakeries
It's a little too much fun creating your own decorated loaf at Poilâne
Scroll over the items on Samantha Robinson's home page and watch as the colors appear
Her porcelain is absolutely gorgeous

Happy Spring!
Spring arrived on Saturday, meaning picnic season has officially begun! (Except for maybe today since it's raining...)
I've blogged about this before, but I love Mark Bittman and his 101 deliciously simple picnic recipes. Check them out here!

Macaron Day NYC
Tomorrow, Saturday, March 20, 2010 will be the first annual Macaron Day in New York! I seriously don't know if there is any news that could make me happier... Find out more information at www.macarondaynyc.com.
And if you're not in the New York area, you're in luck! One of the participants (MadMac) actually ships the delicious French treats nationwide.

Springtime Sneak Peak
With spring just around the corner, these photos are all I need to make it through these last cold gray days of winter... How stunning are these images by Corrie Bond for Marie Claire Australia's March 2010 "Purple Reign" editorial?

Exciting Anthropologie Finds
I've always loved Anthropologie, but lately I've discovered some truly amazing pieces on their site. I've tried to narrow my favorites down to three (below) but there are so many more cool things to check out! Their catalogs are always gorgeous but the January 2010 catalog was indescribably chic...
Page 24 from Anthropologie's January 2010 catalog
white tie blazer $118
landing field skirt $118
Love that Anthropologie has a Home section as well. How amazing are these?
Petite Fille Plate by Parisian artist Nathalie Lete (it's already in my cart...)
Incredible detail on this crewelwork Mantadia Rug
And finally, I NEED this bathing suit! I love all the colors but if they're ever too much - no problem, just reverse it!

Weekend Inspiration: Indian Tents
Just thought on a rainy day I would share this gorgeous photo from Charleston Weddings magazine. It was taken at at Wide Awake Plantation on the banks of the beautiful Stono river in South Carolina's Lowcountry.
The combination of hanging chandeliers, floral arrangements, and a hand-painted tent really takes it up a notch from the run-of-the-mill rental options. Luckily these tents are available for rental as well! Check out Raj Tents' latest offerings here.

Discount + Super Cute Descriptions at Journelle
Anyone as obsessed with Journelle as I am will be happy to know that Cup of Jo is offering a discount code (CUPOFJO) redeemable for 15% off at the gorgeous lingerie store!
Journelle's descriptions are always amazing but I especially love the one for the "Matters of Leisure Townhouse Mini Robe." I want to be that kind of grown-up!

Loving: Metallic Oxfords
Hey guys -
I know I haven't posted in awhile so I'm trying a new approach... short, sweet, and (hopefully) daily posts about things that I love, that inspire me, and that are just plain out of control!
Today that happens to be metallic oxfords. After seeing someone on the subway wearing them, I went home to look them up right away! I'm loving these by Steve Madden available at Nordstrom...
